Aluminium Rainflow offers extruded aluminium downpipes in a swaged or flushjoint design, each in a range of sizes.
Swaged downpipes are wider at the top to accept the tail end of the pipe above. This economical rainwater pipe is available in a round profile in a choice of 3 sizes. Choose between 63mm (2.5 inch), 76mm (3 inch), or 101mm (4 inch) diameters. The 63mm and 76mm round swaged pipes are compatible with all gutters that we offer. The 101mm diameter pipe is compatible with larger gutter profiles. Details of gutter to pipe compatibility can be found on the aluminium gutter shop pages.
Flushjoint Downpipes are narrower at the tail end of the pipe allowing them to slot inside the top of the pipe below. The advantage of this design is the clean and uninterrupted line down the length of your downpipe run. In the flushjoint range the joins between sections are almost invisible compared to the swaged pipes which have a noticeable joint due to the swaged join being wider than the downpipe diameter. Like the swaged pipe, the flushjoint is available in 63mm, 76mm, and 101mm diameters offering the same gutter compatibility options.
Square pipes are also available in the flushjoint range offering the same, almost invisible, join between sections as their round counterparts due to the flush fit design. You can choose between 2 square sizes, either 76x76mm (3x3 inch) or 101x101mm (4x4 inch) diametres. These square downpipes are compatible with the extruded aluminium moulded gutter and the pressed aluminium joggle box gutter. The 101x101mm diameter option is compatible with the larger gutter profiles, check the gutter pages for pipe compatibility.
All downpipe profiles and sizes have a complete range of pipe fittings allowing you to order a complete pipe run from our online store. Downpipe lengths are available in 3, 2, or 1 metre options. We offer fixed offsets/swan necks with a 76mm projection or longer projections in an adjustable 2 part offset which are available from our online store up to 1000mm. Longer projections are available on request. We also offer pipe bends/elbows, branches, water butt diverters, drain pipe adaptors and more.
All items are powder coated giving them an expected lifespan in excess of 30 years inland. You can choose from a range of colours online, or if there is a specific colour your require that is not available through our store we can quote for any RAL colour.
